Ortho Evra Birth Control Patch - Side Effects
Heninger Garrison Davis is investigating the link
between health injuries and the Ortho Evra
birth-control patch manufactured by Johnson &
Johnson and Ortho McNeil, two large pharmaceutical
drug makers. Blood clots and strokes are the chief
risks and injuries our firm is investigating.
There is substantial evidence of a significantly
higher incidence of blood clots and strokes in women
who use the patch. The federal Food and Drug
Administration (FDA) has reported deaths of women
using the patch.
Our attorneys are very experienced in
pharmaceutical liability cases and will gladly
answer any question you or a member of your family
has about Ortho Evra. If you use the patch, please
be aware of the symptoms and side-effects
listed below which are associated with blood clots
and strokes.
Serious Side Effects from the Patch
Be sure to contact your doctor or emergency
medical help immediately if you suffer:
- sharp chest pain
- coughing of blood
- sudden shortness of breath
- crushing chest pain or
tightness in the chest
- pain in the calf of your leg
(which may indicate a clot in the leg)
- sudden severe headache,
nausea, fainting, or dizziness
(which indicate a stroke)
(Note that other side-effects are possibly
associated with the Ortho Evra patch.)
For information about our firm's work for clients
who have used the Ortho Evra patch, please phone us
