Christopher B. Hood
Chris Hood graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with distinction and honors in 1990. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
At UNC-Chapel Hill, Mr. Hood interned for U.S. Senator Terry Sanford and was awarded the Burroughs Wellcome Opportunity Scholarship. He earned his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center in 1995, after working as a legislative and legal assistant in Washington, D.C. In law school, he authored “Metaphors of Shareholder Liability Under CERCLA,” published in the Journal of Environmental Law and Litigation at the University of Oregon School of Law. His articles on politics and general interest have appeared in The Charlotte Observer, Birmingham News, Winston-Salem Journal, Spectator Magazine, and other publications.
