Jeff Leonard and Steve Heninger won a $5 million jury verdict on Friday, May 5, on behalf of a client in a medical malpractice case against a UAB neurosurgeon and UAHSF. The client sustained permanent nerve damage and irreversible pain after the doctor cut through the occipital nerve during the removal of a benign brain tumor. The case was tried in Jefferson County by Judge French.
