Today, HGD Law Firm proudly hosted the Alabama Association for Justice (ALAJ) for its Birmingham stop on the statewide Rolling Justice Tour — a luncheon series focused on strengthening advocacy, connection, and support among plaintiff attorneys across Alabama.

The featured speaker for today’s event was Clint Mountain, President of ALAJ and a seasoned attorney with deep roots in Alabama’s trial lawyer community. His remarks underscored the critical work being done to preserve access to the courts, empower victims, and defend the right to trial by jury across the state.

Held from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at HGD’s Birmingham office, the event welcomed attorneys and advocates from across the region for a powerful hour of conversation, networking, and shared purpose. Mountain shared updates on legislative initiatives, membership growth, and the vision ALAJ holds for a stronger, more unified legal community statewide.

“Justice doesn’t stay still. That’s why we go where our members are,” said Mountain. “Whether it’s fighting for fair laws or supporting the people behind the cases, ALAJ exists to protect what matters most: accountability, access, and the truth.”

The Rolling Justice Tour has made stops in cities like Tuscaloosa and Huntsville, and today’s luncheon at HGD served as another meaningful checkpoint in a broader mission to connect with attorneys directly, discuss challenges they face, and provide support.

For HGD, hosting today’s luncheon was more than an event — it was a natural extension of the firm’s values. With a team of 16 attorneys and a 30-person support staff, HGD is proud to stand with organizations like ALAJ that champion justice, elevate professionalism, and support those injured by negligence.

We thank President Mountain and ALAJ for their leadership — and we look forward to more collaboration in the pursuit of justice for all Alabamians.
