Recently, Marketing & Client Experience Coordinator Catherine Davis and Paralegal Luke Huffstutler crossed something off their bucket lists together by going skydiving.
What makes the story even better? Catherine and Luke have been best friends for more than 21 years.
Growing up together and now working alongside one another at HGD, they've experienced countless milestones side by side. Jumping out of an airplane from 15,000 feet just happened to be the latest one.
A Leap Worth Taking
Like most first-time skydivers, there were plenty of nerves before the jump. But there was also excitement—and the comfort of having a lifelong friend right there beside you.
"I've always wanted to go skydiving, and getting to do it with my best friend made the experience even more special," Catherine said. "It definitely pushed me outside my comfort zone, but it's a memory I'll never forget!"
Luke felt the same way.
"We've talked about doing this for years, so finally making it happen was pretty surreal," he said. "Having someone you've trusted your whole life beside you makes an experience like that even more meaningful."
More Than Coworkers
