HGD Law Firm is excited to welcome three new faces to our team: Hunter Thompson and Mary McIntire, who have joined us as law clerks, and Nariah Harris, who has joined the firm as our new Front Office Coordinator.
New Faces at HGD Law Firm
At HGD, we believe one of the best parts of building a strong firm is creating opportunities for the next generation of professionals. Each year, our summer clerk program gives law students the chance to gain hands-on experience in personal injury law, advocacy, client service, and community outreach. It is also a meaningful way for us to invest in future attorneys as they begin building their careers.
Law Clerks Joining Our Team
Hunter Thompson, a Wiregrass native, joins HGD as one of our newest law clerks. Hunter graduated Summa Cum Laude from Troy University with a degree in Political Science and is entering his final year at the University of Alabama School of Law. Outside of his legal studies, Hunter enjoys cooking, golfing, swimming, and a good game.
We are also excited to welcome Mary McIntire as a law clerk. Originally from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Mary graduated from Sacred Heart High School before earning her Bachelor’s degree in English from The University of Alabama Honors College in 2024. She is currently pursuing her law degree at Ole Miss Law School and is expected to graduate in 2027. Mary enjoys meeting new people, building meaningful connections, cheering on the Crimson Tide, and spending time with her family, friends, one dog, and five kittens.
Welcoming Our Front Office Coordinator
In addition to our law clerks, we are thrilled to welcome Nariah Harris as HGD’s new Front Office Coordinator. Originally from Alabaster, Alabama, Nariah graduated from Troy University with a major in Communications and a minor in Strategic Communications, Public Relations, and Advertising. She brings warmth, professionalism, and a people-first mindset to one of the most important roles in our office: helping clients and guests feel welcomed from the moment they arrive. Outside of work, Nariah is a big reader, loves trying new restaurants, enjoys sweet treats, and is a proud cat mom to Vivy Jean and Evelyn Mae. She also recently got engaged and is planning a May 2027 wedding.
