HGD partner Brandy Robertson recovered a $300,000 settlement on behalf of an injured Arizona truck driver. The driver was injured when the company unloading the truck used a forklift and a tie-down strap with a metal hook incorrectly to pull pallets out of the trailer. The strap broke while unloading the pallets and caused the metal hook to fly back and strike the truck driver. He was knocked back five to seven feet to the ground, suffered a hip injury, and suffered an open fracture of both bones in his forearm. After being taken to a local hospital, the repair to his arm required extensive surgery. Brandy is proud to have successfully represented this client in securing a recovery for his injuries.
